Entry #3 : Wall-E
This video clip is about the use of technology and its effects on the society. What resonates with me about this clip is the movement of people in this clip and also everything been controlled by technology. This film does offer some relevant explanation or commentary on our present culture and society. This is because in this modern world, most of everything is been controlled by science and technology.

ReplyDeleteI agree that the clip was all about how society had become very dependent on technology. It was pretty mind-blowing to see everyone riding around in futuristic electric chairs and how they barely had to lift a finger. Actually, the only time they actually lifted any fingers was to grab a meal-in-a-cup and to type away on their keypads. I also think the clip was humorous because of how over-exaggerated the technology dependency was. I agree that it is closely related to modern society. For the most part, we see tons of advertisements a day persuading us to purchase something, businesses are always creating new ways to cook food faster and more conveniently, and lets not forget our favorite handheld technology.
